In the Spotlight: Indigo
At first glance, this studio may not seem very large, but in reality, it is a true masterpiece of functionality, thanks to its skillful zoning. The moment you step inside, your attention is immediately drawn to the kitchen-living area, where a rich indigo sofa takes center stage. This deep hue, reminiscent of the ocean’s depths, contrasts beautifully with the more neutral and subdued tones surrounding it, creating an atmosphere of comfort and style.
The client wanted to avoid heavy walls and partitions, and Anna Filaretova, who brought this project to life, chose to “play” with colors instead. The living area is designed in light, airy tones that visually expand the space and fill it with light. At the same time, the kitchen cabinetry, finished in dark shades, serves as a bold accent that clearly defines the kitchen zone and creates a striking contrast with the rest of the studio.
The sleeping area is separated by an elegant partition that not only maintains a sense of openness and lightness but also discreetly hides it from view. This partition seems to breathe, allowing air to circulate freely and fostering a harmonious atmosphere.
However, the most memorable element of the interior is the bathroom. It stands out for its boldness and grandeur, contrasting with the other rooms. Every detail has been meticulously considered—from the tile textures to the daring design choices—giving this space character and individuality.
Despite its compact size, the studio manages to accommodate everything necessary while maintaining style and functionality, perfectly meeting the client’s requirements. This studio is more than just a place to live; it’s a space where every element works together to create harmony and comfort.
